Jeremy Siefer is a Los Angeles-based Emmy Award-winning documentary editor. His credits include the features Yusuf Hawkins: Storm Over Brooklyn (HBO), Blood Brothers: Malcolm X & Muhammad Ali (Netflix), and Bronx Obama (Showtime). He has helmed editorial on the doc series Hurricane Katrina: Race Against Time (National Geographic), Murder Mountain (Netflix), and Dark Net (Showtime). Siefer specializes in crafting stories about the past that illuminate and interrogate the present.

Films and series edited by Siefer have received multiple Emmy nominations and awards, including Explorer and Trafficked for National Geographic, NOVA for PBS, and Messi’s World Cup for Apple TV. His work has also been recognized by the Independent Spirit Awards, the IDA Awards, the NAACP Image Awards, and the Critics Choice Awards. Films he has edited or editorially supervised have premiered at the Sundance Film Festival, the Telluride Film Festival, the Tribeca Film Festival and the AFI Fest.
